Michele Massio-Voelkert has had the privilege of working in Human Resources for over 20 years. Beginning in the healthcare industry and moving into local government, Michele has experience in various aspects of Human Resources including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits and learning & development. Michele is a certified facilitator in DiSC, FranklinCovey Programs, and Harassment Prevention. Michele also teaches HR Essentials for the Public Sector HR Association. “I’ve worked in a variety of HR capacities from recruiter to benefits, but Learning and Development is by far my favorite aspect of Human Resources.”
Michele is dedicated to lifelong learning, completing her Masters of in Human Resources in 2022. To enhance her effectiveness as an educator, she earned the SHRM California Employment Law Credential and is a Certified Professional with the Public Sector Human Resources Association. Michele regularly attends labor law updates and stays current in all aspects of H.R. to provide her students with the most up-to-date information.
Michele is an active member of the Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
